One question that I see often is what is Dawn's favorite hair style on JK? So many people think that because I place him in long hair on certain fics, that long hair is my preference. Not at all. 

I do have my fave style on JK. I am a short hair JK girl through and through. In my opinion, JK is separated into two different people. There is the real JK, who I respect as an incredible man who is mature and wise, and kind and close to thirty years old. I prefer seeing the real JK look closer to a man of his age. And in my opinion, short hair gives him that look. I am pretty much over the boba ball JK that makes him look like he's still in high school. But I do love the very, very short hair. It is just my absolute favorite. So if you think of Dawn - think of the pic above bc that is where I live. His SNTY persona will always have me in a chokehold.

In second place, is the 3D, Golden look that is a short hair/long hair hybrid. This still represents a real JK to me, but not as mature of a look as the short.

But now we move on to what I consider the fantasy JK. These CK pictures showed JK in a brand new light. It was something that I had never seen before NOR knew he was capable of. This look - the dead eyes, the androgenous nature of his styling, the chisel of his jaw against the curls. It was captivating. As most of you know, many of my storylines come from pictures. I wrote all of Seven Diamonds from one picture of JM with rainbow hair and JK with purple hair. They become characters that just speak to me. Well the JK below spoke to me LOUDLY and gave me so much fodder for new scenarios, stories, situations. Because he is like a mythical creature in these pictures below. His character determines his hairstyle, but sometimes the hairstyle can determine the character. I mean, just look at him. I love this pic so much that I had a tshirt made of it. And its on my wall. IMO, each of the pictures below represent someone different. With the last image being the sweet and innocent character that will be represented in my new social media fic, "I would be in, if I was into you."

The first and second characters are of course from SPARE, bc I always wanted to write this JK as a complicated, slightly grey character. Now don't get me wrong, he is BEAUTIFUL HERE. OMG, like I said, the first time I saw this pic, I started to cry.

But based on what I know about his personality, his lifestyle, his propensity to be a bit lazy when it comes to upkeep on his hair, I know that he personally wouldn't prefer this as the REAL JK. He may love how it looks, but I guarantee that he hates the upkeep, especially given how much he works out. His hair is very fine as well, so again, not sure this is all his hair. He may be wearing some extensions. Doesn't matter - I adore it as a conduit for my fantastical writing.
